Services

Our approach is defined by intellectual rigor, disciplined execution, and discretion. We serve clients who value provenance, authenticity, and longevity — and who entrust us with objects that carry historical, aesthetic, and personal meaning.

Restoration

Our practice is rooted in traditional workshop methods and a deep understanding of historic and modern construction. We return structural integrity, visual coherence, and functional longevity while honoring the original intent and material character of each piece.

  • Structural stabilization and repair

  • Veneer, parquetry, and marquetry conservation

  • Period-appropriate surface treatments and finishes

  • Decorative carving and component replication

  • Hardware restoration and reproduction

  • Estate, insurance, and private collection work

Interventions are guided by restraint, accuracy, and long-term stewardship.

Conservation

Our conservation work follows museum and institutional standards, prioritizing minimal intervention, reversibility, and comprehensive documentation. We collaborate with collectors, advisors, and curators to preserve original material, surface history, and evidentiary value.

  • Condition surveys and written documentation

  • Stabilization of fragile or compromised structures

  • Reversible repairs and material consolidation

  • Preservation of historic surfaces and patina

  • Preventive conservation planning

  • Collection care and advisory services

The objective is preservation, not alteration — ensuring continuity across generations.

Reproduction

Our goal is not imitation, but faithful interpretation—producing pieces that honor the proportions, construction, and surface character of the originals while meeting contemporary structural standards.

  • Detailed study of period construction, joinery, and materials

  • Hand-selected veneers, hardwoods, and historically appropriate finishes

  • Marquetry, carving, turning, and decorative elements replicated by hand

  • Accurate patination and surface toning when required for integration

  • Collaboration with designers, collectors, and institutions

  • Full documentation suitable for archival or insurance records

Fabrication

We produce singular furniture and architectural works to exacting standards. Informed by historical techniques and contemporary design intelligence, our work is defined by precision, material sensitivity, and enduring construction.

  • Fully bespoke furniture

  • Period and contemporary reproductions

  • Veneer, marquetry, and decorative surfacing

  • Architectural joinery and built elements

  • Hand-applied specialty finishes

  • Prototyping and limited editions

Techniques such as marquetry, parquetry, ebonizing, cerusing, surface toning, and patination are executed with precision and restraint, ensuring finishes that are both visually exacting and historically sound.
